Why can't Canvas do THIS?

Oftentimes, we hear people saying...

Why can't Canvas do [x]?

Canvas can do A LOT of things. So many things that even folks who have done nothing but learn about, work in, and train people on Canvas for months and months can't remember all the things it can do. Here are a few things you may have thought Canvas couldn't do, but can. Do, that is.

 

Can Canvas curve grades? Yes!	See how: "How do I curve grades?"
Why can't my students use attachments in Discussions?	They can: Edit settings to allow attachments
I wish I could see this from the Student perspective...	You can: "How do I access student view?"
Can't we get rid of all those pages in the right sidebar?	No, but, you can: "Hide them"
Using a rubric for grading isn't working...	Try this: Check the grading box
My Canvas inbox is a nightmare... I can't find anything...	Organize it: "Archive, delete, filter!"

 

 Think positively... CANvas probably CAN!
