How to Get Into Canvas When ACES is Down

Both faculty and students may experience occasional issues when the ACES server is down for maintenance or repair. When this happens, users may receive a message: “Course not in Canvas.”

Please be assured your course is still there, even when the link between ACES and Canvas is temporarily not working. 

In the meantime until this issue is fixed, you can access your Canvas courses by logging out of ACES, and then, on the ACES log in page, below and to the right of the login box, click Canvas Live and log in using your ACES user name and password. That will bypass ACES and take you straight into your courses. (Your students can do the same.)
