Assignments include projects, course activities, papers, and essays.

Assignments are grouped by type according to your grading scheme (for example, discussions, quizzes, essays, homework, and so on). You will manage the grading and weight of individual assignments or groups of assignments.

The Assignments tool is a great way to help you go paperless, to make grading easier, and to show students all graded items and their values in one place.
