Veterans Support
NVC Veterans Center
In the fall of 2015, NVC opened its first Veterans Center. This space is reserved for veterans, including active duty military students, and their service animals. It is a relaxing space where veterans can share stories, eat meals, receive information, and simply unwind. San Antonio College's student newspaper, The Ranger, published a nice article about the NVC Vet Center Links to an external site.. The center is now located in the Esperanza Veterans Center (EVC) with many expanded services and resources for veterans.

Veteran Advocates (Vet to Vet Program)
For many current and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces, the transition to college can present challenges or questions. The Vet to Vet program (V2V) is a NVC program designed to help our veteran students with this transition. Information, resources, opportunities to connect with other veterans on campus, the V2V student organization, and faculty and staff advocates are all available through the V2V program.
