According to the American Association of Community Colleges Download American Association of Community Colleges, there are currently more than 6 million students enrolled in community colleges in the United States.  As open access institutions, community colleges serve more than half of all undergraduates in the US.  The Community College Download The Community College is the access point to higher education for many students, especially students from minoritized groups.
