LIVE DEMO ONLY: Classic Quiz Migration

Use this assessment to illustrate how a Classic Quiz (CQ) migrates to New Quizzes (NQ), making sure to note the following:

1. Most assignment details and quiz settings transfer in migration with the exception of "Show/Hide Correct Answers" window.
2. Multiple Fill in the Blank and Multiple Dropdown question types will import as Fill in the Blank items and retain formatting in migration.
3. Text (no question) types will import as Stimulus, and it must have at least one question attached to it in order to be visible to students.
4. Question Groups and Question Banks will transfer to New Quizzes, but with some caveats.
5. NQ import to a "Migrated Quizzes" assignment group in an "Unpublished" state. Consider the following:
   • If using weighted assignment groups, must move each NQ to their appropriate group
   • If using modules, must add/place each NQ in their respective module (and add module requirements, if necessary)
   • Unpublish (or delete) the CQ in the course
