Participants who attend a one-hour training and information session (or view a recording of the session) and provide feedback will have the opportunity to earn a digital badge from Canvas Credentials (formerly Badgr) that will be issued by Alamo Colleges Instructional Technology Links to an external site.. What is a digital badge?

 

Digital badges (also known as ebadges) are a validated indicator of accomplishment, skill, quality, or interest that can be earned in various learning environments. When an badge is earned by an individual, they can share it on their social media profile (LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook to name a few), or an earner can print a certificate.

How do I earn a badge for this training?

To earn a badge for attending this session virtually or in-person, or viewing a recording of it online, participants must submit feedback to the session survey by Oct. 31, 2024 and provide a valid email address with their responses

Once it's earned, how do I claim the badge for this training?

Once the badge has been earned, you will receive an email from Badgr where you can complete one of the following actions to claim your badge:

  • If this is your first badge, you will receive an email from Badgr. Follow the instructions to create a Badgr account.
  • If you already have a Badgr account, the badge goes directly to the account associated with the email address provided, also know as your "virtual backpack." You can log into Badgr Links to an external site. to view the badge, share it online, or print a certificate.
