Instructions
WHAT WILL THE QUIZ BE LIKE? THERE WILL BE TEN QUESTIONS ASKING WHAT “INGREDIENTS” GO INTO PARAPHRASES, QUOTATIONS, TITLE PAGES AND REFERENCES PAGES.
APA (American Psychological Association) FORMAT
- If there is anything on this list that you don’t know how to type in a Word.doc (for example, a page header, or left justification, or hanging indentation), the internet has many kind of instructions. There is also a handout on how to do these things: under “Files” in our Canvas page, there is a pdf called “How to Center Justify Hang” with this and other information.
- In the unlikely event that any other teacher asks that a paper be done in MLA format (which is used in English and almost no other fields), ask the teacher whether you can use APA instead. Most will say yes.
Page Formatting
- 11-point font, Times New Roman
- Left justification
- References page
- Hanging indentation on the References page
- Double spacing throughout
- One-inch margins
- APA Title Page
