Overview of Training
Welcome to Remote Ready Boot Camp for Instructors. The purpose of this workshop is to prepare you to temporarily teach your in-person classes remotely in the event of a college closure. Please note that the focus is on BASIC (minimal requirements) and not "business as usual" standards.
To ensure that you read and review all the information in this training, you will be required to go through the modules in sequential order before you can continue to the next module.
At the end of the workshop, you will be able to:
- Identify the minimum technology requirements needed to teach remotely
- Use Zoom as your basic tool to conduct and record same-time virtual class sessions
- Utilize basic tools in Canvas to manage your students
- Locate resources and support services
